Feel free to pack your own snacks and drinks for your day on the water. In addition, there are a variety of waterfront restaurants to choose from. We are conveniently located next to the Windlass Restaurant. Also the Main Lake Market is a fantastic waterfront spot, accessible by boat for to go sandwiches, drinks and snacks. Guests who are of legal drinking age (21) are permitted to bring their own alcoholic beverages. No glass bottles permitted. Wine and champagne bottles are permitted as long as they are in our protected container.

I’ve been in and around water my whole life, boating and swimming on the beautiful Lake Hopatcong in Northern New Jersey. I have been a boat owner and operator for over 30 years. I have always loved taking people on the water. Some of my best memories in life are on the water with
my family and friends.
I decided to take one of my passions and turn it into a water-based business, “American Dream Charters LLC”. I have always had a dream of opening a boat charter company. Now, I’ve taken my dream and made it into reality. Looking forward to cruising the waters of beautiful Lake Hopatcong with you!

Your safety is my number one priority. I’ve been in the
safety business for over 26 years. I became a Professional Firefighter in 1997 & have risen to the rank of Deputy Chief.
I hold a U.S.C.G. 25T Master Captains License and the crew and I are certified in CPR, AED and first aid.

We will review basic boating safety operations with your and your guests before we get underway. Waivers are required and must be completed by everyone aboard the vessel. Download them here.

Barletta Ultra Entertainer Tritoon.
The highlight of the boat is the floorplan. It has a versatile high top table accompanied by two upholstered swivel stools with an additional multi-functional bench seat. This layout is perfect for hosting family and friends of all ages. Moving to the stern of the boat you will find a one of a kind ultra-lounger, featuring 5 different seating/lounging positions. To round off this floor plan, you will find the standard chaise-lounge seating in the bow designed for comfort lounging and extra seating. Our vessel is equipped with a robust Mercury 250hp outboard.

It's always a great time at Byram Cove. We can throw anchor, eat, drink, break out the tunes and floats.

If you’re interested in a mellow anchorage, just off of Liffy Island is the place for you called Woodport Bay. It has a very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Great place for a chill picnic on the water.

SUNSET CHARTER
End the day right with your favorite people on your very own private boat. Enjoy a sunset charter while taking in the beautiful sights of the Lake Hopatcong. Just sit back, enjoy, and let American Dream Charters LLC take care of the rest. There is nothing like watching the sunset on the water with some food, drinks, great friends and family.
CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel a reservation up to 48 hours before your scheduled departure with no fees. Any cancellations within the 48 hour period prior to the departure will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of your
booked service.
In relation to weather related cancellations, ONLY THE CAPTAIN can cancel tours due to weather conditions. If weather cancels your departure, we will prioritize rescheduling your trip at another time that works for you or you will be refunded in full. Charter guests will be notified for bad weather cancellations 2 hours prior to departure.
FAQ's
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CHARTER?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time for completion of paperwork and safety briefing. This will ensure you will enjoy your full charter experience. Unfortunately, if you are late, it will take time off of your charter. We cannot extend the charter times because of late departures.

WHERE DO I PARK FOR MY CHARTER?
Parking is located at 37 Nolans Point Rd. Lake Hopatcong NJ 07849, on the right under the solar shelter. Spots #12 & #13 are available for American Dream Charters LLC. Make every effort to carpool.
SHOULD I TIP THE CAPTAIN & CREW?
Tips are not mandatory. However, the Captain and crew work hard to ensure you have a 5 star trip, a remarkable experience and the highlight of your visit to Lake Hopatcong. Tips are always appreciated and accepted based on your satisfaction.

WHAT PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?
Most major credit cards and cash are accepted forms of payment.

CAN I SMOKE ON THE CHARTER?
No smoking is allowed on the vessel at anytime. Vaping devices are permitted.
